Congregational Health Ministry

Vision

The members of the Mt. Zion Wesleyan congregation and the surrounding community will experience a higher level of spiritual, physical and mental health.

 

Purpose

To meet the blended spiritual, emotional and physical needs of individuals, families and the community with a central focus on strengthened spiritual health as the end result. 

 

Ministry Structure

This ministry is led by a registered nurse with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing who has successfully completed a basic education course in Faith Community Nursing.  An advisory team provides advice and guidance for the ministry.  Teams are created to assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of ministry programs.
