Advisory Team

 

Purpose

Provide guidance and support for the Faith Community Nurse as

  • health-related activities are developed, planned, implemented and evaluated,
  • new health programs are developed,
  • areas of health need are identified.

 

General Responsibilities

Pray for the Congregational Health Ministry

Attend quarterly meetings (additional meetings as necessary)

Provide feedback to the Faith Community Nurse regarding on-going heath activities and programs

Provide suggestions/advice regarding programs that need to be developed

Assist in the promotion of Congregational Health Ministry activities and programs

Evaluate the Congregational Health Ministry on an ongoing basis with a formal evaluation of the Ministry on an annual basis

 

Note

It is NOT an expectation of Advisory Team members to carry out health-related activities and programs.  Advisory Team members are welcome to participate in these activities and programs as volunteers, if they desire to do so.

 

Ministry Leader

Lynn Tesh, RN, MSN, FCN is leader of the Congregational Health Ministry.  Lynn has 35 years of experience as a registered nurse with 26 of those years being in nursing education.  Lynn and her husband Ron are members of Mt. Zion Wesleyan and have been affiliated with the Wesleyan Church for their entire lives.
